A man from New Jersey will spend about a decade behind bars for crimes in Pike County. 35 year old Brandon Walsh was sentenced to 57 months to 10 ½ years in a state correctional facility for burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, and retail theft. Prosecutors said Walsh burglarized a residence in Blooming Grove Township in July of 2019, then later that same day, ripped off a convenience store in Blooming Grove Township. His sentence in Pike County will run consecutive to a separate sentence from Lackawanna County. Walsh must also pay a fine of $1,100.
