An early Sunday morning standoff in Nanticoke ended with one man dead. Police say it was a domestic situation that erupted on East Grand Street. A 32-year-old man was assaulting his girlfriend. She managed to escape the house with two children and a dog. The man barricaded himself inside, and fired shots at police, then took his own life.
