Tri State Drug Roundup Yields 36 Arrests

36 people have been charged and over $150,000 in cash and other items related to drug trafficking have been seized after 17 search warrants were executed in a tri-state operation called “Operation Final Blow”… a four month long investigation into major narcotics trafficking in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.

An overdose death in Scranton led to three people being charged with drug distribution. 36 year old Darryl Elliot of Sunbury; 34 year old Steven Pierro of Plymouth Meeting; and 34 year old Heather Carper of Northumberland according to prosecutors, conspired to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine. All could now face life in prison.

Flames Tuesday night, displaced seven people in Hazle Township, including three children and two pets, who all safely escaped. , which includes three kids as well as two pets who all escaped unharmed. The Red Cross has been called in to assist. A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating.
