Pennsylvania residents and businesses affected by the September storms and flooding will be happy to hear that the U.S. Small Business Administration has extended the deadline to April 24 for federal disaster loan applications. The extension applies to counties including Monroe, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming.

Among the suggestions, ‘Pennsylvania Wildlife Commission’ to encompass the agency’s diverse responsibilities. While some officials oppose the change, citing the tradition, others say they do see merit in the idea.

Congressman Matt Cartwright is bringing $15.35 million back to NEPA. Local Law Enforcement and Emergency First Responders are getting $2.6 million. Another $8.84 Million is earmarked for transportation and infrastructure upgrades in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, and Pike Counties. $1 Million will go toward the Brodhead Creek Regional Authority Water Main Replacement.

A White Haven man faces charges after Pennsylvania State Police found child sexual abuse material on his phone. 45 year old Shawn Sullenberger allegedly uploaded six videos and images. He admitted to viewing child pornography for seven years. Sullenberger faces multiple felony charges and was released on an unsecured $50,000 bail.
