Olyphant Man Facing Charges

A man from Olyphant has pled guilty to drug and gun charges. 22 year old Moises Vargas-Olivio admitted to possessing a loaded .357 Magnum revolver, a loaded .22 caliber handgun, and an illegal “sawed-off” shotgun, with a barrel less than 18 inches in length, in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Under federal law, he faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison. He could however, be sentenced to life behind bars.
