A decision by one Pennsylvania based healthcare company to divest from skilled nursing facilities means more than 100 people will lose their jobs. Guardian Healthcare Management Services filed a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state it will lay off 124 people. The first layoffs are expected to begin on or about March 8th.
