Pennsylvania State University has announced plans to cut 94 million dollars from the budget university-wide by the 2025-26 school year. The cuts are attributed to shifting demographics, declining enrollment, and rising costs. The projected cuts will be a 29-million-dollar reduction for central administration, an 11-million-dollar reduction for University Park colleges and a 54-million-dollar reduction across the Commonwealth Campuses.
