The Victims Resource Center in Wyoming County is trying to raise awareness of Human Trafficking in a colorful sort of way. Red sand was poured into the cracks on the sidewalk in downtown Tunkhannock on Monday to remind everyone that victims of human trafficking are among us locally… whether we know it or not. The sand represents all the victims that may ‘fall through the cracks’ so to speak. It’s part of a project that began in Texas in 2014 and has since spread nationwide.
