The body of a man was pulled from the Lackawaxen River in Wayne County on Monday. The Wayne County Coroner’s Office has identified that man as 28 year old Brandon Lee Duclos of Florida, who state police say physically assaulted a pregnant woman at a house on Maple Avenue in Honesdale Sunday night. Troopers say when they arrived, Duclos fled upstairs and jumped out a second-story window, and then leaped into the Lackawaxen River and went underwater.
