A tragedy unfolded in Duryea as first responders were called to a deadly fire early Saturday morning. Firefighters rushed to a home on Foote Avenue, where they found one person trapped inside. Despite their efforts, that person did not survive. This marks the second fire at this location within a short span. Authorities are investigating the cause.
