A man charged with rape in Scranton attempted to flee from police during his arrest. 31 year old Paul Rixford was brought in for questioning after a child reported inappropriate actions. When officers informed Rixford of his arrest, he tried to escape but was tackled by police. Rixford is now behind bars, with bail set at $500,000.
