Police in Hanover Township are investigating a disturbing case of animal abuse. Reports and tips flooded the Hanover Township Police Department regarding possible mistreatment of a dog at a local residence beginning around 5pm Wednesday. The SPCA Humane Society Police Officers have been actively involved since then, pursuing leads and gathering evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
