The Lackawanna County Coal Mine Tour is back in action following a brief scare when 54 tourists and two staff members were trapped underground due to an electrical malfunction. It began around 1:45pm Monday, and it was resolved by 6:30pm. All 56 individuals safely exited using emergency protocols within ninety minutes, with no reported injuries.
