A crash in New Milford Township in Susquehanna County on I-81 turned deadly when a man was ejected from his car. State Police say 70 year old Timothy Sopata of South Carolina was driving. He later died from his injuries.

A garage fire in Scott Township, Lackawanna County has been ruled accidental. Firefighters were called out to the fire on Heart Lake Road after the homeowner saw his recreational vehicle burning inside the garage. The flames damaged other equipment and other vehicles. Investigators say nothing is suspicious.
