Child Endangerment Charged
A Wayne County man has been arrested and is now facing charges including Child Endangerment. 50-year-old Armando Capo of Lake Ariel is accused of keeping a 15 year old autistic child in a dilapidated camper in unlivable conditions. The child was taken into emergency custody.

They are expected to decrease the number of errors on completed ballots that lead to many being rejected. They will also be more uniform across all of the state’s 67 counties.

New Wawa On The Way!
A new Wawa is coming to Wilkes-Barre Township. Formal plans for the new store which will be on Route 309 were submitted, as were plans for a new Aldi store that will occupy part of the former Kmart Building in the Blackman Plaza, which has been vacant since 2020.

Police in Luzerne County are trying to hunt down a ‘porch pirate’ who they say stole a FedEx package from a customer’s porch. The package contained an electronic device said to be worth $1,400. Wilkes Township Police say that type of crime is on the increase.
