Griffin Pond Animal Shelter seeks help in locating a woman accused of abandoning two dogs near the shelter. A Luzerne County man faces drug-related charges after police executed a narcotics search warrant in his home. Jason Facciponti was arrested Thursday. Officials recovered methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia during the search. Facciponti is now in the Luzerne County Prison, being held without bail, awaiting a preliminary hearing on April 4.

With the upcoming solar eclipse, safety concerns are on the rise. The National Weather Service at State College suggests accessing eclipse safety messages through the New York Weather Forecast office in Albany. While Pennsylvania won’t experience totality, some parts of the state will still see around 98.5% of totality. The eclipse is April 8th.
