A woman is accused of spitting and kicking a Wilkes Barre Police officer who responded to a domestic disturbance on Academy Street. Police tried to break up an argument between a man and 22 year old Mariah Torres of Wilkes-Barre. Torres spit at and kicked the officer multiple times, then kicked the inside of the police car on her way to police headquarters. She’s now in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
