A Lackawanna County man, 62 year old James Gerrity of Dunmore, was convicted for a 2021 fatal crash in Wayne County. Gerrity crossed the median on State Route 6, hitting Mary and Lou Radell’s car. Lou Radell succumbed to injuries at Geisinger CMC. Gerrity claimed a hypoglycemic event caused the crash, but officials disputed, charging him with Homicide by Vehicle and other counts.
