Antlerless Deer License Changes Coming

Lawmakers in Harrisburg have passed legislation that means Pennsylvania deer hunters could simply purchase their antlerless deer licenses over the counter or online at www.huntfish.pa.gov. It now heads to the Governor’s desk.

Two men have been sentenced in federal court in Scranton in two separate drug investigations. 37 year old Jonathan Fontanez of Wilkes-Barre, will spend 40 months in prison followed by 3-years of supervised release. 33 year old Jean Hernandez of Scranton, was sentenced to 57 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release.

A deadly weekend plane crash in Luzerne County leaves two people dead. The NTSB says an experimental aircraft left Wyoming Valley Airport in Forty Fort Saturday afternoon, and then crashed about three minutes later.

One person was killed in a single vehicle crash Saturday morning on the Scranton Expressway. The driver… an unidentified 42-year-old woman from Scranton… was ejected from the vehicle which rolled several times. Scranton Police are investigating.

Police in Pittston have wrapped up an investigation, and have now filed charges against a man who they say caused a vehicle to crash into a barbershop on October 15th. Christopher Dailey is now facing charges including aggravated assault with intent to cause injury with a deadly weapon.
