Scranton Man Arrested After Allegedly Raping Unconscious Woman

A Scranton man was arrested after detectives say he raped an unconscious woman on Vine Street, after strangling her until she was unconscious. 29-year-old Dante Weldon was sent to the Lackawanna County Prison on felony charges, with bail set at $100,000.

Teen Facing Charges In Pistol Whipping

A teen age boy is being charged as an adult for his part in an armed home invasion last Saturday in Wilkes-Barre, where a man was pistol-whipped. 16 year old Nihajj Johnson of Wilkes-Barre, is being held in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility without bail. A second suspect has yet to be arrested.
