A former Lackawanna County tax preparer is headed to prison for defrauding Scranton taxpayers to the tune of more than $250,000. 46 year old Donald Royce of Orlando, Florida was sentenced to 46 months in prison and a three-year term of supervised release. He also must pay more than $336,000 in restitution to over 40 victims and forfeit over $155,000 in proceeds of his crimes.
