Hunters are reminded that new Pennsylvania hunting licenses for the 2024-25 year go on sale Monday, June 24. You can buy antlerless deer licenses at the same time, starting with high-demand areas, and then from June 27, PA residents can purchase antlerless licenses for other units. Nonresidents can buy remaining licenses starting July 8.

A trial date may soon be set for Bryan Kohberger, the Northeastern Pennsylvania native accused of killing four University of Idaho students. A hearing is scheduled for June 27 to discuss potential trial dates and sentencing. Kohberger’s attorneys are also requesting a change of venue, but the judge has yet to rule on that.
