They are blaming it on human error… Thousands of records from at least two state agencies stored on the state’s computer system servers, including data from the State Employee’ Retirement System, has been lost and has yet to be recovered. The incident that happened on January 3rd involved 77 computer system servers, and it resulted in the firing of at least one state employee. State officials say no pension data has been lost and there was no cyber-attack or hacking.
