We first told you yesterday about a note found sealed in a box of cereal. Now there are more reports of cryptic notes found inside sealed food packages coming in from all around Pennsylvania. Avian influenza has been devastating to poultry farmers, especially here in Pennsylvania. Now, an outbreak of the so-called “bird flu” has caused the Pennsylvania Game Commission to release some of its winter pheasants earlier than planned. Another 4,000 or so will also be held back and retained as potential brooding stock for next year.
