Man Charged With Setting Fire To Lackawanna County Government Center
A 35-year-old man is facing serious charges after allegedly setting fire to the Lackawanna County Government Center. Scranton Police responded to reports of smoke inside the building, prompting an evacuation during a meeting. Surveillance footage identified Paul Howard Strope as the suspect. Authorities have charged Strope with arson, risking catastrophe, and reckless endangerment.
