New Troopers Graduate

Dozens of new Pennsylvania State Police troopers graduated from the academy Friday, after completing 27 weeks of training. State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher L. Paris praised their hard work and dedication. Special awards were given to outstanding cadets during the ceremony held in Manheim, near Harrisburg.

Unemployment claims here in Pennsylvania increased again last week… that according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Nationally, U.S. unemployment claims also rose, reaching 231,000, up from 209,000 the previous week.
